"How we care for the dying people in our midst, and how we die when it is our turn: these together are the proving ground, the cradle and the grave, for every conviction we have about justice and mercy, about the meaning of life, about what love should look like and what it should do." ~ Stephen Jenkinson, teacher, author, storyteller and spiritual activist

Additional Comments from Participants"I feel a lot more at peace about life... it was liberating to be able to talk relatively freely with others who 'heard and held' without rescuing... I found some of the exercises 'challenging' in a good way... so it was a time of insight, healing and clarity for me." "As I listened to you and others, it was clear that there are so many roads to achieve the same goal and we can choose as best fits the person's needs." "I've noticed I'm even more fascinated by the transition between being alive in a human body and shedding it... and I feel even more aware of the impermanence of life, which to me feels right." "I discovered a vast array of options available in how we can hold sacred space for other and self, which for me covers all the materials and experientials offered in this course... such a breadth and wealth of information that I was previously unaware of, so thank you for this." "The most helpful aspects of this program were the practical and spiritual tools to help me be a healing presence to someone who is dying. Just having the tools brings me a new confidence. And it's great to have someone so experienced to tell us what works and what doesn't." "This program is a grounded approach to taking care of manifest needs prior to and during dying, and an extra special opportunity to assist in the soul's transition into spiritual light as the dying process occurs." "Absolutely fantastic... well worth doing... very very informative and heart centered!" "Totally worth it!" |
